Polar Denim Chinos

Introduced for winter ‘19, these Denim Chinos from Polar Skate Co. have been cut to a baggy fit with a tapered leg from heavyweight cotton that has been dyed to a washed black colourway. The waistband is secured by a single YKK button and a zippered fly sits centrally below. Two sets of small pleats sit below the waistband and add subtle shaping to the style, influenced by classic chino trousers. On either side of the waist slanted entrance pockets are available to carry small essential items and on the reverse two additional welt pockets have also been added. Branding has been kept to a minimum apart from a rectangular white woven label above the rear right pocket which shows bold ‘Polar Skate Co’ text in black. Flat fell seams have been used across the design for durability and the legs have straight cut hems.

This winter sees Malmö based Polar Skate Co. introduce a fresh selection of apparel, accessories and quality skate hardware which features custom artwork designed by the brands founder Pontus Alv, Malmö based illustrator and head of Polar’s art department Jacob Ovgren and experimental artist Tynan Kerr. Known for their creative skate videos, ‘90s inspired silhouettes and solid team of skaters, Polar was founded in 2011.
